This page is dedicated to Brother Kevin Sanders who is completed his first tour in the Oriental Chair on 31 December 2009.

This year has brought great highlights to my life, family, and friends. I was honored when Grand Master Jack Butler installed me as Master of Iowa City Lodge 4. I wanted to set a precedent by reaching out to our senior members, increasing membership, fellowshipping with neighboring lodges, and participating in community service. Under my direction, and with the lodge's support, we accomplished all of these goals.
1.) First African American to be Elected Leader of Iowa City Lodge #4
2.) First African American in the State of Iowa to Serve as a Grand Lodge Officer
3.) The African American History Museum of Iowa selected Kevin Sanders as one of the individuals for an Oral History Project
